As a Principal Revenue Officer, Optimisation, you will provide expert advice in accordance with legislative and policy frameworks, lead the reivew and analysis of existing business processes and practices and identify and develop opportunities to optimise revenue recognition. You will lead the revenue analytics strategy and operationalise financial and non-financial performance reporting, as well as identify, develop, implement and deliver training programs and tools to support, promote and communicate opportunities for revenue optimisation across the health network.
What you'll do:
- Identify and contribute to the development of strategies to optimise revenue performance ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines in relation to the billing of pathology and scientific services.
- Undertake analysis of current state processes to outline risks, and clearly identify process improvement opportunities and supporting their implementation in relation to the optimisation of revenue and the achievement of organisational goals.
- Develop a revenue performance reporting framework which measures productivity, achievement against targets and overall effectiveness of key performance indicators, facilitating the timely delivery of complete and accurate analysis and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated Accounts Receivable and Billing knowledge, and ability to interpret and apply the requirements of relevant legislation, policies, determinations and cases as well as financial management and accounting practices in the public and private health sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering and managing revenue optimisation strategies, education and training in a complex organisational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and utilise data, creating reports and presenting information that is clear and concise to influence decisions, actions and perceptions.
