About the role
The Clinical Director, Queensland Telestroke Service, is the accountable clinical leader for the statewide service and is responsible for the strategic direction, clinical governance, and performance of the Queensland Telestroke Service. The role will have the following key accountabilities, in accordance with Metro North Health and Queensland Health values, policies, and governance frameworks.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide clinical leadership for the Queensland Telestroke Service and set the strategic clinical direction for the service at a statewide level.
- Be accountable for the clinical safety, quality, and effectiveness of care delivered through the Queensland Telestroke Service.
- Lead the design, implementation, and improvement of the Queensland Telestroke Service to meet current and future statewide stroke care needs.
- Set and maintain statewide clinical standards for telestroke service delivery, including eligibility, referral, escalation, and transfer pathways.
