About us:
Step into the heart of Surgical Services! Located on Level 3, the Peri-Operative Unit brings together the Operating Suite, Day Surgery Ward and Procedure Rooms into one dynamic hub. With all elective patients flowing through Day Surgery, you'll be part of a fast-moving team coordinating seamless care. The suite features 4 operating theatres with anaesthetic bays, dedicated gastroenterology and minor procedure rooms, plus first-stage recovery - delivering variety, pace and impact every day.
About the role:
Step into an advanced Scrub/Scout role where your skills take centre stage! As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll deliver person-centred care in a fast-paced peri-operative environment, working to NMBA standards while practising advanced Scrub/Scout skills within your scope.
You'll support education, contribute to research, and help drive practice improvements. With critical thinking across key domains and strong teamwork, you'll play an important role in clinical innovation and delivering safe, high-quality patient care every day. Have you got what it takes?
About you:
We're looking for an experienced Scrub/Scout ENAS ready to hit the ground running! You'll bring strong clinical knowledge, assist with anaesthesia planning and resource management, and deliver high-quality peri-operative care. As a natural team player, you'll model positive behaviours, take a solutions-focused approach, and support innovation in practice.
With excellent communication skills, you'll collaborate across the multidisciplinary team, build strong working relationships, and help drive continuous improvement.
The successful applicant will hold a tertiary degree qualification such as a Diploma of Nursing or equivalent. Current nursing registration though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is also a requirement for this position.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $97,070 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $40.43 - $42.90 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
