The Clinical Facilitator – Prison Health Services (CF - PYDHS) plans, implements and evaluates clinical learning opportunities at a ward/clinical unit/workplace level to support clinicians to provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-focused services. Clinical Facilitators develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clinicians and educators to enable education services to be available and accessible within the clinical setting.

What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrate clinical experience and contemporary knowledge relevant to this
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the assessment of clinical skills and positive feedback
- Demonstrate advanced level of interpersonal and written communication skills to enable accurate, complete, and timely information transfer.
- Demonstrate ability to act as a professional role model in supporting the professional development of others; applying evidence and best practice to patient care, establishing, and maintaining relationships; and managing a range of tasks to support positive outcomes for the individual and workplace.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively within both clinical and education teams to meet service imperatives within designated timeframes and resource allocations.
- Demonstrate awareness and alignment to the Queensland Health Grade 6 Band 1 Clinical Nurse (Clinical Facilitator) Career Pathway.
- Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative practice.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
