As a Service Leader, you will contribute to the delivery of customer focused Payroll service to customers of Queensland Health through payroll and related administrative processes and systems.
What you'll do:
You will support the effective delivery of payroll services by liaising closely with Workforce Management Solutions and Operations, particularly in managing escalations and resolving payroll errors. As a Service Leader, you will provide expert advisory support for pay run operational activities while maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of payroll production processes, organisational structures, and the impact of employee payments on workforce management. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining system policies and procedures that ensure the efficient, compliant, and auditable delivery of payroll services, contributing to continuous improvement and organisational effectiveness.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a payroll team or service to ensure provision of quality customer services within an industrially complex and diverse environment.
- Well -developed leadership, management and change management skills to develop a high performing and professional workforce and workplace culture.
- High level written and oral communication skills including liaising, consulting and stakeholder engagement with a broad range of clients.
