What your day could look like
As a Social Worker, you'll support adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them feel understood, supported and empowered during their inpatient journey. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to care that is respectful, recovery‑focused and aligned with best practice.
Each day, you'll:
- Support patients and families through assessment, advocacy and care planning
- Collaborate with clinicians to deliver coordinated, person‑centred mental health care
- Apply professional judgement to complex situations, with appropriate supervision
- Contribute to service quality, learning and continuous improvement
Let's Talk About You
You're a compassionate and capable social worker who values meaningful connection and ethical practice. You communicate clearly, work well within teams, and bring calm professionalism to complex and emotionally charged situations. You're motivated by supporting recovery and making a positive difference for individuals and their families.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- A recognised social work qualification and eligibility for professional membership
- Experience, or emerging capability, in clinical or mental health practice
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- A commitment to respectful, person‑centred care
You'll stand out if you bring experience in inpatient or acute settings, or a passion for quality improvement, education or supervision.
At heart, this role is about living the values of compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage—while helping people move toward recovery and better wellbeing.
