What your day could look like
As a Senior Program Lead, you'll help turn ambitious plans into real‑world outcomes that strengthen how care is delivered across Darling Downs Health. Your work supports clinicians, patients and communities by ensuring complex Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment programs including the new Toowoomba Hospital, are aligned, well‑sequenced and ready for service delivery.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Guiding large, multi‑disciplinary Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment programs from planning through to delivery, keeping priorities clear and outcomes on track
- Working alongside clinical, operational and external partners to balance needs, manage change and achieve shared goals
- Leading readiness and commissioning activities, so teams feel confident, prepared and supported to deliver care
- Identifying risks and opportunities early, applying insight and innovation to solve problems before they escalate
Let's talk about you!
You're a thoughtful and confident leader who brings structure, calm and momentum to complex environments. You value collaboration, communicate with clarity, and lead with integrity—especially when things are challenging. You take pride in seeing big ideas translated into practical outcomes that improve experiences for patients and staff alike.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Experience leading large, complex programs or projects in healthcare or similarly regulated environments
- Strong project management capability, including governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement
- Well‑developed communication and influence skills, with a collaborative leadership style
- A values‑driven mindset aligned with Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage
You'll stand out with experience in major capital or system‑wide programs and/or postgraduate study in project management, health or leadership.
Above all, this role is about creating lasting impact through purposeful leadership in a health service that truly values its people and community.
