The Office of the Chief Clinical Information Officer is seeking a Project Support Officer: • Provide vital administration and communication support to assist in the successful delivery of OCCIO functions. • Provide administrative, executive support, and secretariat support to the OCCIO Leadership Team and the Senior Project Officer to ensure the efficient operation and communication of corporate functions. • Manage a specific portfolio of work within the Project Support Officer pool (3 staff). • Support the Senior Project Officer, OCCIO as directed. • Contribute and collaborate as a member of the OCCIO team.

What you'll do
- Provide expert support to ensure the efficient day to day management within defined portfolios of work within OCCIO including:
- Assist with the compilation of local reports, as directed by theSenior Project Officer.
- Provide confidential secretariat support; maintenance of electronic records; coordination of strategic / business / operational planning; coordination and review of departmental and ministerial briefing notes and correspondence.
- Maintain project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies.
- Provide advisory services on corporate functions, ensuring office procedures and systems are efficient and in alignment with relevant policies and legislative obligations, including financial management practices and human resource policies.
- Utilise Microsoft products and Queensland Health corporate enterprise systems such as HPE Content Manager, myHR, S/4HANA, iLearn etc.
- Build and maintain a high level of communication and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure OCCIO goals are achieved, and a high level of service is delivered across OCCIO and Digital Health Branch, eHealth Queensland.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-quality customer service in a large complex environment.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Strong technical skills and experience in the use of computers and software packages (ie. Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint 365, Microsoft Excel).
- Experience in providing Senior Administrative support to a high level, including but not limited to secretariat work, diary management, database management, record management, communications, and customer service.
- A proven ability to maintain effective relationships within both the OCCIO team and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
- Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and an ability to work unsupervised whilst coordinating multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
