  • Salary range: $85,236 to $109,330 p.a. (NG5)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
  • Flexible working arrangements are available for this position

About your opportunity

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Registered Nurse employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in a Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you will be contacted further by the Emergency Department at the time an opportunity arises. Further participation in other recruitment selection processes (for example written application and/or interview) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required. Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
  • Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
  • Highly Desirable: Extensive experience in Emergency Department and a current Adult Life Support certificate.
  • Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
