The Senior Medical Officer, Mitchell Western Qld, has the opportunity to make a significant contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of the local communities within the South West Hospital and Health Service and to become a valued member of a dynamic rural health care team that provides quality and culturally appropriate medical services.

Mitchell MPHS is a 30 bed facility located 560kms west of Brisbane servicing a population of approximately 900. Situated on the banks of the Maranoa River where you can spend your days off fishing or try rejuvenating in the artesian spa or going to the free gym with your new friends in this welcoming home away from home.
