About the Team

The Division of Medicine delivers specialist, statewide hospital and health services to children and young people across Queensland and northern New South Wales. As a recognised leader in paediatric healthcare, education and research, the Division provides comprehensive clinical services, including general paediatric care within the QCH catchment as well as tertiary and quaternary care across a broad range of medical specialties. Services are delivered through the Queensland Children's Hospital in South Brisbane, as well as via statewide programs, specialist outreach, telehealth services, and partnerships with other hospital and health services and non-government organisations.

The Division of Medicine Administration Team plays a critical role in enabling these services by providing high-quality administrative and operational support to clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams. Working across all specialties, the team ensures efficient coordination, strong governance support, and the smooth day-to-day functioning of services, contributing directly to the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

About the Role

  • Lead and shape a high-performing administrative team within the Division of Medicine, supporting workforce capability development and a positive workplace culture aligned with CHQ's strategic goals.
  • Contribute to service excellence by implementing quality improvement initiatives and enhancing administrative systems across a dynamic healthcare environment.
