We're excited to welcome a Sonographer – Advanced to our Medical Imaging Team.

As the sonographer Advanced you will deliver advanced Ultrasound clinical services and clinical leadership to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health, across a multidisciplinary team and at the service level.

Working collaboratively and effectively in a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality Ultrasound services to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health in accordance with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
• Possesses advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective Ultrasound services across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
• Provide high level clinical advice within area of expertise to professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
• Collaborate at a work unit/service area level and/or across disciplines to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying conflict resolution skills where necessary.

Remuneration value up to $144 997 p.a, comprising salary rates $73.12 - $76.30 p.h., (part time, 60.8 hrs p.f.), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) Applications will remain current for 12 months / the duration of the vacancy.
