Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $216,643 to $274,678 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Townsville Hospital and Health Service is searching for a talented medical leader to provide the medical leadership component to clinical governance to enable the provision of safe, high-quality healthcare and excellent patient outcomes in the THHS. The Director of Medical Services Clinical Governance provides strategic leadership and oversight of medical governance frameworks to ensure safe, high-quality clinical care across the organization.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Current Registration with or eligible for registration as a specialist medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
- Experience in clinical governance will be highly desirable.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators is highly desirable but is not essential.
- A fractional component of ongoing clinical work in the relevant clinical area would be encouraged as part of the DMS CG role.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
