About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated contemporary advanced practice, expert clinical skills, and knowledge in credentialed scope of practice and leadership capability enabling the delivery and support of high-quality patient focused
- Demonstrates the ability to apply specialised knowledge of contemporary advanced nursing practice and theory in credentialed scope of practice and to participate directly and indirectly in the delivery of clinical care.
- Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, open communication, and a positive environment within and across the multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard.
- Demonstrates the ability to educate, inform, counsel and support patients and families with contemporary clinical information at an advanced level relevant to patient's care and understanding.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) as a Registered Nurse with Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory.
