About this role:

The Manager, Domestic and International Partnerships, in the Office of Research and Innovation, is a role which requires leadership, critical thinking, research policy and strategy horizon scanning, and domestic and international stakeholder engagement across government, health, commercial, university, and research sectors.

What you'll do:

As a Manager, Domestic and International Partnerships, you will lead and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior representatives from government, university, health precincts and business sectors in relation to commercialisation issues and advice, as well as interstate and international investors and collaborators. You will effectively work with the team to manage projects and programs in line with legislation, adhering to ethical decision-making principles and standards. The Manager is required to lead a small team in delivering projects and programs providing coaching and mentoring to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.

About you

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic written and verbal advice to government and stakeholders aligned with the purpose and deliverables of the role.
  • Ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity, competing priorities and to achieve required outcomes in the allocated timeframe.
  • Demonstrated strong program and project management, and leadership skills to support the good governance and successful delivery of projects and programs to achieve objectives.
