About us:
Central Queensland Oral Health Services isn't just about teeth; it's about people, community, and keeping smiles shining across the region. We're all about delivering top-notch, evidence-based dental care.
From busy clinics to school dental programs and even mobile dental vans rolling into communities, we cover a huge stretch of Central Queensland. That includes places like Rockhampton, the Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, and of course Emerald, plus smaller towns where your work can make an even bigger impact. We're the service that goes the extra mile to keep communities smiling! 😄
About the role:
This is your chance to step into a role where you're not just delivering great oral health care – you're setting the standard. Provide high-quality dental therapy within your scope while championing better oral health across individuals, families, and entire communities in Central Queensland. Help people smile a little brighter (and a lot more confidently).
As a senior clinician, you'll guide and support less experienced team members, helping lift the whole team while keeping care at a consistently high level. Think of yourself as part expert, part mentor, and part go-to problem solver when things get tricky. A big focus of the role is working with children and adolescents, delivering care through both fixed clinics and mobile dental vans that bring services directly to schools and communities.
This role is all about stepping up and showing what you can do. The responsibilities are designed to match a high level of skill and capability, so we're looking for someone who can confidently demonstrate they've got what it takes (clinically, professionally, and as part of a team).
About you:
- You've got the right credentials in your toolkit: whether it's a Bachelor of Oral Health or a Certificate in Dental Therapy (respectively) and you're fully registered with AHPRA, ready to hit the ground smiling.
- You also hold a Radiation Use Licence, so you can safely and confidently handle all aspects of clinical care (no guesswork, just great practice).
- Your clinical knowledge is strong, and your skills are sharp! You know your stuff and not afraid to show it.
- Juggle the day-to-day like a pro: managing priorities, meeting deadlines, organising schedules, and keeping a team running smoothly without breaking a sweat.
- Communication skills are top-tier, and you know how to connect, lead conversations, and build strong relationships across teams.
- Most importantly, you lead by example. You enjoy mentoring others, driving improvements, and helping raise the standard of care because great smiles start with great leaders!
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
Additional Benefits
- Ongoing Professional Development and Education Opportunities
- Flexible Work-Life Balance and Variety
- Generous Salary Sacrificing Options
- Paid Parental Leave
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
