Your new role:

In this role, you will deliver high-quality environmental health services to protect and promote public health across the Metro South region.

  • Administer and enforce public health legislation, including investigations into environmental health matters and communicable diseases
  • Manage a diverse caseload, delivering evidence-based assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team
  • Engage with industry, community members and stakeholders to support regulatory compliance and public health outcomes
  • Contribute to service improvement, research activities and the ongoing development of professional practices

About you:

You are a motivated and capable Environmental Health professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred public health outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply environmental health knowledge and enforce public health legislation in a practical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders
  • Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, with the ability to contribute to team learning, supervision and service improvement initiatives
