We're excited to welcome a Manager Protective Services to our Workforce Division.

The Manager Protective Services provides strategic leadership and expert security management advice to the Sunshine Coast Health Executive and other senior key stakeholders across the organisation. The position is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Protective Services team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide expert, authoritative advice and high-level consultancy services to Executive staff and senior managers on Workforce matters with specific reference to security management through interpretation of external audit and review reports, legislation, policies, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards, accreditation standards, directives, industrial instruments and guidelines.
- Research, develop and implement security management strategies, frameworks, tools, reporting mechanisms and continuous improvements to drive security management initiatives that meet the current and future workforce requirements of Sunshine Coast Health.
- Build, develop and maintain strong working partnerships across all levels of the organisation and with external partners, while engaging collaboratively to ensure systems, procedures and processes are continuously improved and strategic, business and operational objectives are met.
- Develop, establish and maintain security management governance systems and measures to ensure legislative and contractual compliance, implementation of Queensland Health wide policy and systems and mitigation of security management related corporate risks.
Remuneration value up to $187 651 p.a., comprising salary between $155 432 - $164 467 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO8).
