About Us:

As an Advanced Clinical Assistant within the Hospital in the Home team, you will support Allied Health in delivering safe and effective care to patients in their homes, assisting with early discharge and preventing hospital admissions.

About you:

You will work under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals while exercising a high level of independence in delegated clinical and non-clinical tasks. This role provides exposure to a diverse caseload, including acute, subacute, and complex care presentations.

  • Develop leadership skills in relation to the delivery of the service by initiating, implementing, and evaluating workplace instructions and quality activities, relevant to the position and supporting organisational change.
  • Facilitate, monitor and be responsible for self-development to ensure ongoing education to meet professional competency and mandatory training requirements and assist in mentoring/support of less experienced Clinical Assistants.
  • Assist in the performance, appraisal, and development of CA3 staff and facilitate and lead ongoing training to enhance safe and competent clinical practice for CA3 staff and students.
  • Demonstrate self-insight and awareness of the effect of own actions on others, to promote positive and supportive work environments, relationships, and teamwork within the multidisciplinary team.
