The Principal Operations Coordinator, Accounts Payable, leads the strategic coordination of systems and administrative functions to ensure operational continuity and strengthen the unit's contribution to organisational objectives. The role enhances strategic capability by overseeing governance, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality analysis that supports informed decision-making.
What you'll do:
As a Principal Operations Coordinator, you will work closely with senior management, driving the optimisation of system, financial, HR and procurement processes, along with leading and managing staff within the Accounts Payable Operations team to ensure accurate, consistent and efficient delivery of system, administrative and transactional services aligned with organisational strategy, legislation and policy. You will be responsible for providing high-level advice, consultation and negotiation support to senior leaders on operational, financial, administrative and system-related matters. The Principal Operations Coordinator will support the planning, implementation and enhancement of systems, process and procedures to improve service delivery, operational efficiency and compliance.
About you
We're looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of contemporary financial management, human resource and procurement legislation, policies, and frameworks
- Proven ability in developing and implementing business improvement initiatives to directly enhance service delivery outcomes and expectations
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify and interpret issues and develop quality options and strategies to resolve complex executive and business matter
