Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse within the CYMHS Acute Response Team, you will deliver advanced, person-centred mental health care to children and adolescents presenting in emergency departments. Working both autonomously and collaboratively, you'll play a key role in clinical leadership, care coordination, and service excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Provide advanced assessment, care planning, and intervention for young people with complex mental health needs
- Lead clinical decision-making and support multidisciplinary team care delivery
- Coordinate care and contribute to safe, high-quality outcomes in fast-paced acute environments
- Support service improvement, education, and quality initiatives within the team
About you:
You are a skilled and compassionate mental health nurse with strong clinical judgement and a passion for supporting young people and their families in times of crisis.
You will bring:
- Advanced clinical skills in child and youth mental health nursing practice
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and clinical leadership capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
