About the role

Join our team at The Prince Charles Hospital and make a real difference in patient care. In this role, you'll work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality food services that support patient's nutrition and therapeutic needs.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Work ethically with available resources and accountable to the Dietitian Manager Food Services for nutrition related matters
  • Work without direct supervision while performing face-to-face and phone-based menu orders, for all ward areas within the Prince Charles Hospital's campus in a patient-focused manner
  • Provide menu support via phone for patients and participate in a call centre environment, taking care to provide prompt and superior customer service.
  • Produce all reports required for the appropriate preparation areas, taking particular care of special diets.
  • Follow dietary requirements as set out in Diet Manual and implement any modifications and/or alterations as per Dietitian/Speech Pathologist's instructions.
