The role of the Administration Officer is to provide effective and efficient customer focused administrative services within multiple Surgical Outpatient Departments at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide effective administrative support by delivering reception and office administration services to contribute to the operations of the immediate work team and division of Surgery and Peri-operative Services.
- Provide support to clinical activities including maintaining wait lists, reception duties, ordering and distribution of patient medical charts, patient registration, and organising patient appointments for all procedures and outpatient appointments.
- Accurately view, record and retrieve information from Queensland Health and office systems including Enterprise Scheduling Management system (ESM), Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), Integrated electronic medical record (ieMR), Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
