Our Prison and Youth Detention Health Service is expanding! The Associate Clinical Nurse Consultant (ACNC) provides specialised clinical expertise and clinical care skills in collaboration with the Nurse Grade 7. In supporting the Nurse Grade 7, the ACNC provides clinical leadership and direction to nursing staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost-effective nursing care consistent with contemporary standards and best practice across Prison and Youth Detention Health Services.
Temporary Full-time opportunity until 30 December 2026.

What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to apply specialised knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory in Prison and Youth Detention Health Services nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships, open communication and a positive environment within a multidisciplinary team, actively contributing to the learning and development of others to a high standard.
- Demonstrated management experience and capability with an ability and commitment to practice collaboratively within the broader multidisciplinary health care team to deliver high quality care.
- Demonstrated management knowledge and skills specifically human resource management and advanced financial literacy within the healthcare environment.
- Exemplifies the West Moreton Health Professional Practice Model by demonstrating person-centred care, professional excellence, safe and effective care delivery, commitment to quality and safety, and collaborative
