Metro South Health is seeking an organised and proactive Director Support Officer to join the Emergency and Clinical Support Services team at Logan Hospital. This permanent full-time AO3 position (76 hours per fortnight) provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Nursing Director, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across multiple clinical sites in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Your new role:
In this role, you will provide confidential, high-level administrative support to the Nursing Director, contributing to effective service delivery across Emergency and Clinical Support Services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex diaries, correspondence, meeting schedules and secretarial functions for senior leadership.
- Coordinating nursing recruitment and onboarding processes, including documentation, interviews and system access.
- Supporting roster accuracy through MyHR and IWFM, ensuring timely data entry, payroll reporting and issue resolution.
- Maintaining office systems, responding to service enquiries and identifying process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency.

You are an adaptable and highly organised administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with experience managing competing tasks and rosters across multiple systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, handle confidential information and support diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in administrative systems, diary management, meeting coordination and minute-taking, with advanced computer literacy.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach, working collaboratively with teams and contributing to ongoing service improvements.
