The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is at 18-bed level 6 tertiary unit managing all specialties other than burns (including ECMO).

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Base salary range: $113,979 to $122,048 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • On-call and shift allowances (where applicable)
  • Plus great salary packaging options to increase take-home pay

About your opportunity

The role of the Clinical Nurse is to provide direct and indirect client focused clinical expertise, support and education to nursing staff within the ICU to ensure best practice, quality care is provided.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA
  • Must obtain and maintain an annual competency in Advanced Life Support as per THHSCLI040151 Life Support Training and Assessment
  • Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
