HITH provides care in a patient's permanent or temporary residence for conditions that require ongoing clinical governance, monitoring, and/or treatment, as a substitution for in-hospital admitted care. About you:
- Deliver high level occupational therapy clinical services of a complex and varied nature to consumers of Hospital in The Home in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.
- Provide leadership in the provision of evidence-based and patient-centred occupational therapy practice and education and initiate and participate in clinical research and service improvement projects in order to optimise health outcomes.
- This position requires high level knowledge of complex conditions, patterns of pathology and use of validated evidence-based management principles, coupled with high level experience in a range of caseloads.
