The purpose of this role is to support molecular diagnostic services by receiving, preparing and processing patient specimens, ensuring accurate data entry, specimen handling and laboratory support to enable timely and effective diagnostic testing.
What you'll do
In this role you will receive, prepare and process specimens for molecular testing, perform basic laboratory and genomics setup tasks, enter data into laboratory systems, assist with specimen dispatch and storage, support quality and cleaning procedures, and contribute to laboratory operations including specimen reception during periods of demand.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Has experience or the ability to learn specimen processing and laboratory procedures
- Has good computer and data entry skills
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Can work shifts including weekends and after hours if required
