We are seeking a Correspondence Coordinator to join our team one day per week, preferably on Fridays, with potential for additional hours. In this role, you will provide correspondence coordination and compilation for the Deputy Director-General, Director-General and the Minister for Health and Ambulance Services (the Minister).

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for reveiwing and editing outgoing correspondence to ensure quality product and compliance with departmental guidelines. As a Correspondence Coordinator, you will coordinate and manage requests for information from the Office of the Deputy Director-General, the Director-General and the Minister, as well as identifying and implementing training and resource materials for use by officers within the Division in relation to preparation of correspondence and documentation.

About you

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitively and confidentially during all interactions and liaisons with staff and/or clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage high volumes of incoming/outgoing correspondence/requests and prioritise and organise workflow, in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • In depth knowledge and skills in the use and management of departmental information management systems, including Content Manager.
