About Your Role

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to provide operational and clinical leadership across perioperative services. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership across theatres, PACU, and perioperative areas
  • Coordinate staffing, resources, and patient flow
  • Support safe, high-quality, person-centred care delivery
  • Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff
  • Contribute to quality improvement and clinical governance
  • Lead change initiatives and service improvements

About You

You are an experienced perioperative nurse with strong leadership capability and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. You thrive in dynamic environments and are confident guiding teams and driving outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated leadership or ANUM experience
  • Advanced clinical and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage resources and coordinate teams
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice
  • Experience in quality improvement and clinical governance
  • Confidence in mentoring and developing staff
