About the opportunity  

Reporting to the Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, you will be a key member of a high-calibre, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering compassionate and evidence-based care. In this role, you will:  

  • Deliver expert clinical management of complex maternal and fetal cases, including advanced diagnostic ultrasound and invasive procedures such as amniocentesis and CVS. 

  • Provide integrated antenatal care in collaboration with obstetric medicine, midwifery case managers, and paediatric subspecialists. 

  • Contribute to service innovation, strategic growth initiatives, and expansion in readiness for a dedicated NICU. 

  • Play an active role in teaching and mentoring registrars, subspecialty fellows, and other clinical staff. 

  • Participate in on-call rosters, departmental meetings, and multidisciplinary case reviews, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical governance. 

About you  

We are seeking motivated professionals with:   

  • Fellowship with RANZCOG (or equivalent) and specialist registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, with subspecialty certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (CMFM) or consideration for COGU. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in high-level obstetric ultrasound, complex antenatal management, and invasive procedures. 

  • Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary health care team, fostering collaboration and excellence. 

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality care. 

  • A passion for advancing clinical services, research, and education in line with best practice standards.
