About Your Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Central Sterilisation Department (CSD), you will play a critical role in ensuring reusable medical devices are safely reprocessed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reprocess reusable medical devices in line with AS5369 standards
- Perform decontamination, inspection, packing, and sterilisation
- Manage loan instruments, including tracking and coordination
- Support safe, efficient workflow and workload allocation
- Work collaboratively with theatre and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking systems
About You
You are a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse with a passion for patient safety and quality care.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience or interest in sterilisation/CSD or perioperative
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and development
