Your new role:
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of interface management across multiple capital works projects within a live hospital environment, ensuring seamless coordination and minimal disruption to critical services. You will:
- Coordinate and manage interfaces across concurrent project workstreams, identifying risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including clinical teams, contractors, and external providers
- Lead interface meetings and manage communications relating to system isolations and impacting activities
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements while supporting successful project delivery
About you:
You are a highly skilled project professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and brings a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to delivering outcomes. You have:
- Proven experience in project coordination or interface management within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence across diverse groups
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a live operational environment, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively
- Sound understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements, ideally within healthcare or government settings

About the Assets and Infrastructure Division
The Assets and Infrastructure Business Unit (A&I) enables Metro South Health to continue to expand its scope and capacity of clinical services through the effective leadership of master-planned facility renewal and redevelopment. A&I undertake infrastructure planning through the development of business cases to deliver on the priorities identified within the Metro South Health Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP). We further deliver the identified Priority Capital Works and Capital Infrastructure projects within defined guidelines.
