Your new role:
As a Registered Nurse within the Rehabilitation and Acute Stroke Unit (Ward 3D), you will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients, by:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care across rehabilitation and acute stroke settings
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to meet individual patient needs
- Working collaboratively with nursing, allied health, and medical teams
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff, students, and assistants in nursing
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
- Demonstrating clinical leadership and participating in team coordination when required
About you:
You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to continuous learning and excellence in patient care, with:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
- Experience or interest in rehabilitation and/or acute stroke nursing (highly regarded)

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
