  • Salary range: $73,222 to $90,332 p.a. (HBEA10-HBEA6)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS), Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join the BEMS Rural trade team. They will provide and maintain high quality plant and infrastructure facilities supporting patient care and staff accommodation throughout THHS. 

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • Possession of relevant trade certificate or diploma from an Australian University, Registered Training Organisation or an overseas qualification deemed equivalent by the Australian Government and/or relevant registration body.
  • Possession of current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence.
  • Possession of current LVR/CPR Competency.
  • Licence to operate vehicle. This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
  • Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
