About us:
Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers an area of 142,900 square kilometres. We go as far as Tully in the south, Cow Bay in the north and Croydon in the west. Join the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service team of over 6000 staff to deliver health services in Far North Queensland. We offer a range of medical, nursing and midwifery, administrative and support roles at Cairns and more than 30 regional, rural and remote facilities.
This position provides specific support to the Regional Adversity Integrated Care Clinician (RAICC) and will assist to coordinate and facilitate Tackling Regional Adversity through Integrated Care (TRAIC) program activities. The position works collaboratively as a member of the administrative team for the Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug service and supports staff across Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
About your role:
- Provide secretariat support for working groups, consultations and any other relevant committee as required.
- Examine and prioritise incoming correspondence, papers, and reports to determine action. Prepare correspondence papers and reports whilst ensuring accuracy and high presentation quality as directed.
- Undertake administrative support as required by the Operations Director Rural & Remote Mental Health Service including word processing, Excel spread sheeting, meeting secretariat functions, organising meeting venues and catering, managing videoconferencing facilities, maintaining asset replacement and equipment register, building management duties, incident reporting, team travel arrangements and human resource processes.
