What you'll do
In the Manager Workforce role, you will lead workforce planning and recruitment functions, including workforce analysis and retention strategies. You will provide high-level advice to support strategic decision-making, manage human and financial resources, and develop workforce initiatives that drive performance, continuous improvement and service delivery outcomes.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Advanced skills and knowledge in the management, application, and evaluation of contemporary human, material, and financial resource management including knowledge and application of the Best Practice Rostering framework for Nursing and Health Practitioners.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills, and expert judgement in supporting the overall management of the service.
- Expertise in using Contact Centre Workforce Management software systems or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and skills of relevant systems. Experience in using Queensland Health's iWFM program for delivering the roster-to pay solution.
- Ability to support the integration of key objectives from the Department of Health strategic plan, Health Contact Centre operational plan, and clinical service profiles into service delivery for the Workforce Management service
