  • Salary range: $144,991 to 151,289 p.a. (HP5)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

The purpose of this position is to deliver evidence-based specialist psychotherapeutic and therapeutic interventions with consumers and carers within an adult community mental health service model. The position will also provide service wide clinical and professional advice on specialised clinical areas and service delivery models, including taking a lead role in skill development.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • For Psychology: The successful applicant must possess a tertiary degree qualification in Psychology from a recognised tertiary institution, full general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), and/or clinical endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • For Social Work: The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Social Work as well as eligibility for full membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • For Occupational Therapy: The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia is required.
  • Possession of relevant post-registration and/or tertiary qualifications/ advanced certification in specific evidence-based therapies (DBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, or Somatic Experiencing) would be highly regarded for a position at this level, as would expertise in delivery of complex psychotherapeutic interventions or programs.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
