About the role
Provide coordination, liaison and operational support for the School Based Traineeship (SBT) program across North West Hospital and Health Service. Working as part of the Human Resources team, you will support trainees, mentors, line managers and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the program, while also contributing to other non‑clinical training and employment pathway initiatives.
- Providing generalist HR support and advisory services, including coordination and advanced administrative support for the SBT program
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to support trainee placements, educate line managers and escalate issues as required
- Mentoring and supporting trainees in partnership with program mentors to promote successful completion of traineeships

Requirements
- Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check; from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. (Blue Card)
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
