About the role:

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care to paediatric patients under senior guidance.
  • Act as a vital link for families, ensuring clear communication and coordinated discharge planning.
  • Mentor and inspire junior medical staff and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Manage diverse clinical presentations, from neonatal intensive care to general paediatric medicine.
  • Travel to rural and remote communities via outreach clinics to ensure equitable care for all.
  • Ensure every patient's journey is documented with precision and care to maintain safety.
  • Engage in clinical audits and reviews to constantly elevate the standard of care we provide.
  • Support the community through a balanced roster that ensures 24/7 peace of mind for parents.

About you:

  • You are a medical professional (MBBS) registered with AHPRA, driven by a passion for child health.
  • You hold current APLS and Neoresus certifications, ready to act when it matters most.
  • You bring a gentle touch and sharp clinical mind to Paediatrics and Neonatology.
  • You understand that patient safety is a sacred trust and a cornerstone of great care.
  • You are an empathetic communicator who listens as deeply as you speak.
  • You are a natural collaborator who thrives in a multidisciplinary village environment.
  • You are a lifelong learner, eager to share your knowledge and grow alongside your peers.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $169,083 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $125,808 - $145,865 p.a.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
