About the role:

Love cooking with purpose? As our Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals that make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of our community. From hearty patient meals to Meals on Wheels and special functions, your skills will help bring comfort and care to every plate.

You'll take the lead in preparing, cooking and presenting meals using fresh ingredients and trusted recipes, ensuring every dish meets high standards of quality, safety and taste.

About you:

  • You're a true team player who enjoys being part of a busy kitchen and a bigger organisation where everyone pitches in.
  • You love fresh cooking and know your way around ingredients, equipment and recipes and you're always keen to learn more.
  • You've got a good handle on dietary needs, food safety and kitchen standards (and you take them seriously).
  • You're a great communicator who can easily connect with patients, teammates and staff across the hospital.
  • You bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for making a difference—one meal at a time.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $83,100 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $35.04 - $36.73 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
