Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $79,051 to $119,071 p.a. (HP3/Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) offers a specialised mental health service for families with children and young people (birth to 18 years) who experience severe and complex mental health problems, and where their needs cannot be met by other services.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Nursing: Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology: A tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in the particular discipline.
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
- Highly Desirable: Credentialed status (or willingness to undertake and complete requirements) with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
