The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) TBCU will provide direct and indirect care as required and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for clients and the community. A strong understanding of public health and tuberculosis control will be a significant advantage to the right candidate in supporting the delivery of dynamic, exemplary services to the North Queensland community This role will report directly to the Assistant Director of Nursing Infection Prevention Services and Tuberculosis Control Unit.
About your role:
- Provide effective and efficient management of service in collaboration with the Nursing Director/Director of Nursing, clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate the provision of quality evidence-based care.
- Collaborates in the development and implementation of management support for change processes, risk management practices and service improvement activities.
- Lead and coordinate quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective services.
