About the role
Metro North Health is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker – Child Protection Liaison Officer to join the Child Protection Unit at Redcliffe Hospital. This is a specialist, senior role providing expert social work consultation, leadership, and interagency liaison across complex child protection matters.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver high-level specialist social work services in child protection within an early intervention and prevention framework
- Provide expert clinical consultation and advice to multidisciplinary health staff
- Work collaboratively with Queensland Police Service, Department of Child Safety and other key agencies
- Lead and contribute to education, training, and service improvement initiatives
