  • Base salary range: $34.53 - $36.30 p.h. (CA3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Shift allowances (where applicable)

About your opportunity

  • Take direction from the Team Leader, Senior Occupational Therapist or Advanced Rehabilitation Assistant, in consultation with other team members. 
  • Communicate effectively with consumers and other staff members.
  • Participate in the delivery of group and individual consumer programs as directed by the multidisciplinary team.
  • Encourage and assist consumer participation in all aspects of activities of daily living, including self‑care, care of the living environment and community‑based activities.

Requirements:

  • Completion of or willingness to complete a recognised training program at least equivalent to Certificate IV in Mental Health Work (non-clinical) recognised by Queensland Health (e.g. relevant TAFE Certificates or Diplomas).
  • Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.  
  • Work extended hours in line with treating team/unit requirements (including evenings and weekends).
