Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the optimisation and ongoing support of key referral management systems, ensuring efficient, high-quality patient flow across Metro South Health. You will:
- Support the development, maintenance and enhancement of referral pathways within Smart Referrals Workflow Solution (SRWS) and e-Blue Slip systems
- Provide reporting, data analysis and dashboard development to support performance, safety and decision-making
- Investigate and resolve system issues, ensuring data integrity, quality and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clinical, technical and operational stakeholders to implement system enhancements, upgrades and process improvements
About you:
You are a detail-oriented and collaborative professional with strong data and systems experience, ideally within a healthcare environment. You have:
- Demonstrated experience in data management, reporting and ensuring data quality and compliance with standards
- Experience supporting information systems and contributing to process improvement or workflow redesign
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

About the Primary Care Partnerships Unit
The MSH Primary Care Partnerships Unit is an outpatient supporting and enabling service encompassing the MSH Central Referral Hub, General Practice Liaison, Business Practice Improvement Officers, OPD and Referral Data teams, and management of the ESM outpatient scheduling system for Metro South Health.
The collective of support services assist outpatient departments deliver safe quality care, providing advice and guidance on best practice, workflow, compliance, data, reporting and funding. PCPU staff have a unique set of skills and use multiple applications in day-to-day activities.
