Your new role:

As a Principal Project Officer, you will lead and deliver complex service improvement and clinical redesign initiatives across Logan and Beaudesert Health Service.

  • Plan, implement and evaluate strategic projects that improve patient flow, service delivery and clinical outcomes.
  • Lead service improvement, quality and risk management initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Provide high-level advice, reporting and stakeholder engagement to support executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and external partners to drive innovation and sustainable change.

About you:

  • You are a strategic thinker with strong project leadership skills and a passion for improving healthcare systems and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex projects, service redesign or improvement initiatives in healthcare or similar environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills across multidisciplinary and executive levels.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving ability, with experience using data to inform decisions and outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, lead change and deliver measurable results in complex environments.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
