Lead Perioperative Pharmacy Care

Metro South Health is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacist (Perioperative) to join the Pharmacy Department within Logan–Beaudesert Health Service. This permanent part-time HP4 role (30.4 hours per fortnight) delivers high-quality clinical pharmacy services across the Surgical Admission Unit, Operating Theatres and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, working within a collaborative interprofessional team to support optimal perioperative patient care.

Your new role:

In this role you will deliver advanced perioperative pharmacy services while supporting quality medication management and service improvement.

• Provide clinical pharmacy services across SAU, theatres and PACU
• Act as a clinical resource for surgical, anaesthetic and pharmacy teams
• Lead quality improvement, education and perioperative medication initiatives

About you:

You will be a skilled senior pharmacist with perioperative expertise and strong collaborative capabilities.

• High-level knowledge delivering pharmacy services in perioperative settings
• Strong communication and ability to provide clinical advice to teams
• Experience supervising staff and contributing to service improvement activities
