Your new role:
Ward 5A is a 28-bed acute inpatient ward delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients with complex medical, cognitive and palliative needs. With a dedicated Cognitive Support Unit, the team is committed to evidence-based practice, innovation and continuous improvement.
As an Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS), you will work under indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, using your advanced clinical knowledge to deliver safe, compassionate and effective care while contributing to a positive team environment.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care across acute, cognitive and palliative settings
- Apply advanced clinical skills in dementia and delirium care
- Collaborate with RNs and the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
About you:
You are a compassionate and skilled Enrolled Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients with complex needs.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills, particularly in acute and/or dementia care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach

About us:
Ward 5A is a 28-bed inpatient ward providing patient centered care to patients with acute illness, significant cognitive age-related impairment and Palliative Care. Ward 5A has ten beds allocated for Cognitive Support Unit exclusively for patients with cognitive disorders. Ward 5A actively embraces and incorporates evidenced based nursing practices with innovative models of care delivery aimed at improving quality outcomes for its specific client population and staff. The ward therefore offers exciting leadership and management opportunities for Registered Nurses wanting to contribute in a positive, proactive and safe nursing team environment
