Your new role:
In this role, you'll deliver specialised hand therapy services within a supportive, interprofessional team environment by:
- Providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and patient education within the HEWT Clinic
- Managing a clinical caseload with a focus on evidence-based, patient-centred care
- Contributing to discharge planning and ongoing patient management
- Participating in clinical education, including supervision of students and assistants
- Supporting quality improvement and research activities within the service
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
About you:
You are a motivated and collaborative clinician who is passionate about delivering high-quality hand therapy services, with:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
- Demonstrated ability (or developing capability) in hand therapy assessment and intervention
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Commitment to ongoing learning, professional development and clinical excellence
- Interest or experience in education, supervision or service improvement activities
